    The leading amateur, Jake Higginbottom, has just teed off. In 2011 Jake competed in four PGA Tour of Australasia tournaments and finished the top amateur in three of them including the NZ Open, NSW PGA Championship and NSW Open. The only one he missed was the Emirates Australian Open.

    Going into the final round of the NSW PGA Championship Matthew Guyatt was five shots off the lead, he fired a final round 62 to claim the win. He tees off today six shots behind Ian Poulter.

    The current course record at Kingston Heath is 9-under 63, set by West Australian Cruze Strange during last year’s Port Phillip Amateur championship. With 6 holes to play Adam Crawford might come close.

    After a 77 on Friday Graeme McDowell looked well out of it, but thanks to a 67 in the third round and 2-under today he is back in the top 10 at 3-under the card. He has eight holes to play.
