What is the cut? Top 60 and ties...? Why don't they show what it is at the top of the live leaderboard for those of us who are interested? There will be some anxious players around +3, +4

Nick O'Hern not off to a good start with three bogeys in six holes. He is at +2 and awfully close to the predicted cut line.

Rose puts it close on the 9th. Should make the putt which would take him to -7 and outright lead.

Nick O'Hern liked his shot off the 9th tee. Watched it roll back down the rise to settle in easy birdie range. Appleby not so lucky, pushes his left.

Amateurs have been having a great season on the PGA Tour of Australasia with Oliver Goss winning the WA Open and Jake Higginbottom the NZ Open. But the trend looks to be dwindling this week, currently there are no amateurs inside the projected cut mark of 3-over.

If you are at the course be sure to check out the Australian Golf Heritage Society. The guys can run you through all the old clubs some of which date back to the 19th century.

Showing just how accurate he is, Justin Rose hasn't missed a fairway today and has hit 83.3% of greens in regulation, in difficult conditions. Very impressive but he is the World Number 4 for a reason!
