Results from the field just prior to play being suspended, there were 19 bogeys, 2 doubles and a triple. Just shows how hard the conditions had become.

Does anyone know if Josh Geary finished his hole before the wind delay?

Hi Brad, We have no scores through for Josh, he was on the first so it would appear that he had marked his ball.

I'm a member at the lakes and play in these conditions regularly. They are playing across the lake at east lakes too. Toughen up lads!

Hi James, thanks for you comments. The reason for play being suspended was due to the ball not holding on the greens which makes it a little difficult to putt. Once it dies down a little the players will be back out.

I think if & when they do go back out, the Paddy Harrington putting stance will be popular! :-)

Peter Senior told a volunteer on the 10th yesterday that he hasn't birdied that hole for a while and when he finally does he still can't get the honor. Andre Stoltz had an eagle.

At least if it rains it will make the greens slower and the balls will hold much easier.

So good to hear Stuart Appleby discuss difficulty of playing in the wind, just so hard to keep your balance on the green, head movement, hat movement, club movement, ball movement.....by far the hardest part of the game to deal with
