Amazing shot from Watson, 5ft left for par

Great to see Rose playing and in contention, and Watson making the cut, although he is struggling today. Would love to see more overseas players in the Aussie Open. Wonder if moving the date so as not to be so close to the Dubai tournament would get more Euros to come down under. Also, while the Lakes is a good track, it is kind of like having the US Open on the Doral Blue Monster. Aussie Open should be on the country's best courses - Royal Melb, Kingston Heath, NSW, etc. - great courses attract top players.

Wind okay for now expected to reach over 30km/h by 5pm, and we could possibly have a thunderstorm today as well.

Time for us to leave this group out on course. It has been and absolute pleasure following a true legend of the game. Chalmers has missed several opportunities but remains in contention however may need to pick up a couple more shots coming in

Steve Jones with a horrible tee shot on the first. He is in the sand amongst some sticks and leaves. Will be interesting to see where this shot ends up.

S.Jones gets the ball out and to the green but it rolls straight off the back and pulls up in the rough short of the water.

Plenty of players in the sand right of the fairway on the first. Cullen just hit out and made the green to have a long putt for birdie.
