The only amateur to make the cut was Cameron Smith. He is making the most of his round and is 3-under after 13 holes to be 1-under for the tournament.

  • Matt Millar and Greg Chalmers are others making a move this morning. Chalmers 4-under thru 11 and Millar 3-under. Both at -2. #ausopengolf

Mental mistake by Scott on 3. Decides to chip from the edge of green and doesnt clear the ridge. Lengthy putt now for par.

Scott misses the par putt and still has 3-4 feet for his 5th shot. But drains it for bogey.

Chalmers hits his worst pitch if the day to miss the green short and right. What could of been a birdie hole will require work for par

The five easiest holes on the course are all on the back nine. Hole 17, 14, 16, 10, 13 are the ones to keep a watch on, could go 5 under or more just on these holes today.
